永杰的画和人



    他来自山东一个小镇,认识他有十来年了.

    永杰一直走着自己的路,学院的圈子,社会潮流的糟杂都对他影响不大,那些张扬,怒气,调侃的波谱也都不曾干扰他.

    一直画着有艳味的画,圆圆的脸上飘动着二片红唇,轻盈的线条,划出圆润的身韵.简捷的二,三种淡淡的色调,似乎漂浮在画面上,散发出优雅的性味.大概就是这种性似的味道打动一些人.我曾感到他骨子里还有着浓重的传统的东西.可还画出同性之乐趣.他对朋友充满友善之情.出于某些浅意识我说不出?

    这几年又做雕塑,爬行状不锈钢女人体.原来画画的情意缠绵的女人体不见了.雕塑变得是饱满膨胀的金属感的性.呈动物状态.还有点野性,是显明的暴露态.这一进步的内心深处潜意识的发泄,性快感不见了,而是自信,对自己前一段走过历程的自信感.

    隐藏在艺术家内心深处的某种意念同社会现实的碰撞,如能找到碰撞后的感悟,做出暴发后的语境,会在成果.但,这一切取决于艺术家在文化上,人格意识的不断深化,成熟.才有暴发发现的快感.然而当艺术家的某些成功,在不断受到世俗和时尚观念的侵入,造成艺术家反化意识上人格的破碎,艺术家的成长也就停滞了.中国知识近百年来经历了几次大规模的不断重复着人格分裂的历史.今天商业的成功,人格的破碎造就一批文化上的暴发户.知识分子正面临着艰难的挑战选择.

    且看,小庞再进行一次碰撞而释放出某种能量.

    Yongjie’s painting and his personality

    Pangyongjie comes from a small town of Shandong, and I have known him for more than ten years.

    In artistic creation he always insists on his own way. Either the academic circle or the social tide has no much influence on him. Those arrogant, dander or piffle Pop could not bother him at all.

    His paintings contain an amorous flavor: bright red lips on a round face, fleshy figures with light lines and only two or three light colors. A kind of graceful sexy odor seems floating on his painting. Perhaps some people are moved by this sexy flavor. There is a strong traditional inclination in his heart, yet he could express the pleasure of sex through his works. It is hard to tell whether it is due to his sub-consciousness or his kindness towards people.
 
    In the past few years he has made stainless steel creeping woman like sculpture, instead of the original tender and affectionate woman body. This is a sculpture with bulgy metal feeling, a little bit wild and in the form of an animal which is obviously in an undressed form. This is the further release of the sub-consciousness of the artist, now the sexual pleasure was gone, instead, the self-confident for his previous course was established.

    When the concept hidden in the cockles of the heart of the artist collide with social reality, if a new bourn could be found then a breakthrough for the artistic creation would be achieved. But all these new discoveries depend on the artist’s maturity in culture and personality. If the success of an artist was constantly affected by common customs or vogue concepts, that would cause the breaking up of the anti-consciousness personality of the artist and then the growth of the artist would stop. For hundreds of years Chinese intellectual field has repeatedly experienced the history of these kind of split personality in large scales. Today’s commercial successes as well as the split personality have brought up a group of culture new-rich. The intellectuals are facing new challenges.

    Let’s expect the force Pangyongjie released after another collision.
